Concept Shoot

Based on the negative stereotypes that black women have in the media the photo series are to contradict the ideologies and show the feminine and soft side that is overturned.

Overview

‘Nectar’ is an exploration of the nurturing side of black women. The aim of the shoot is to showcase the softness and kindness they have with the power they hold.

Props

Using nature and flowers as our main inspiration we wanted to utilise and enmesh them in with the model. It is used to represent the natural growth and the persistence they have to stand in.
